OIL CLEANING BIO-PRODUCTS LTD.
PRESS RELEASE
STRONG INTEREST IN OCBP's "HEG" PRODUCTS and "CLEAN WORKS" INITIATIVE
AT BIRMINGHAM PLANT MAINTENANCE SHOW
September 1997
Oil Cleaning Bio-Products Ltd. enjoyed a very successful two days
at the Plant Engineering and Maintenance Show at Birmingham ("PEMS
'97") in mid September, with many positive enquiries from senior representatives
of companies in different sectors about the exisitng and new products
in the "Heg" range of bacterial oil cleansers, absorbents and bioremediation
agents. At the same time, OCBP was able to explain its "Clean Works,
Better Business" Partnerships in which customers and OCBP work together
to produce a cleaner and safer workplace for employees and to protect
the environment by cutting pollution.
Richard Genochio, Managing Director of OCBP Ltd., asked about the
link between the "Heg" products and PEMS '97, said: "This was an important
exhibition. The cleaning of machinery, the removal of oil from workshop
floors, the containment and treatment of spills of oils and acids
and reduced environmental impacts are key factor in business efficiency
as well as in health and safety at work. We were able to demonstrate
to visitors exactly how the "Heg" products achieve these aims."
Commenting on the "Clean Works, Better Business" Partnerships, Mr.
Genochio said: "Most of the companies we met fully recognise that
pollution control and the safety and health of employees at work are
not extras, but basic to good management, business reputation and
competitiveness. OCBP likes to work with customers to achieve these
goals which the Partnerships and PEMS share."
Concerning rumoured additions to the "Heg" product range, Mr. Genochio
added: "I am pleased to confirm that OCBP will be launching this autumn
some exciting new products to build on the success of the first series.
These will include an absorbent for spilled acids, a sealant for punctured
drums, a bacterial grease trap and drain de-blocker, new types of
absorbent booms and emergency spill kits."
